Getting to Moonrakers
Alfriston is between Brighton and Eastbourne, to the South East of Lewes.
From Gatwick and the M25 head South on the M23/A23 to Brighton. As you begin to enter Brighton take the A27 East towards Lewes/Newhaven. After approx 15 miles take the third exit off the Drusillas/Alfriston roundabout. Head South into the village. Continue to High Street where Moonrakers Restaurant is on the L towards the end of the High Street.
Park in the village car parks on either side of the road at the Northern entrance to the village or the many unrestricted residential roads behind the West side of the High Street. You can access these streets by taking the turning alongside the Star Inn. If you have any difficulties with mobility then try parking behind the restaurant on Tye Road. There are two handicapped places immediately at the rear of Moonrakers.
There are regular trains from London Victoria to Lewes station. National Rail Enquiries 08457 484950. Nearer still is Berwick Station (approx 1 mile).
Available at Lewes station alternatively we will happily arrange transport on request. There is also a very good Alfriston taxi service.
